Happy Sunday!
1) The first link is to American Illustration + American Photography, who collects and showcases up-and-coming photographers and illustrators. There is no real explanation for this one; it's just a cool collection of images. Some of these should spark some serious inspiration for a few of you photographers and creatives.
2) Juxtaposition is everything sometimes and this link to a fellow blogger's site proves it. It's amazing what you can construct when your eyes are open to the whole picture.
3) "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery," says Ron Dermer, one of Benjamin Netanyahu's top advisers. He was talking to the NYTimes, in this article, about Netanyahu's website that looks suspiciously familiar...
4: Two for one!) Have we come to the end of apathy of the younger generation? This has been the subject of many debates during the last few years. With so many young voters giving a damn this election season, Adbusters asked the question, too, in their article "The End of Apathy." Also, don't forget to click the "hipster article" link that they reference when you're done. It's an amazingly funny/sad article for anyone that has been in and around campus over the last year or so.
5: Wiki and a Movie) Yesterday, someone sent me a link to a free online showing (in HD!) of Lawrence of Arabia. That's right folks, all three and half hours of the 1962 epic! If you have time to kill today (my guess is that you do if you are reading this) then you should take advantage. Like the AI+AP link ^^ up there, this is very inspiring to me as a photographer because the cinematography is breathtaking. Whether or not you choose not take part in the awesomeness that is Peter O'Toole wandering around the desert during WW1, you should definitely hit this link to the wiki on the original T.E. Lawrence autobiography "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" outlining his experiences in Arabia.
Enjoy.

Juxtaposition yes!
And the hipster article made me a little uncomfortable wearing my skinny jeans...
